America magazine launches "In All Things," a new editorial blog

America, the national Catholic Weekly, announces the debut of “In All Things,” a new group blog now online at http://www.americamagazine.org/blog/blog.cfm?blog_id=2. Authored by the Jesuit and lay editors of the magazine, “In All Things” will also feature commentary from distinguished American Catholics such as Sister Helen Prejean, Robert Ellsberg, Sidney Callahan, Francis X. Clooney, S.J., and Dolores Leckey. Inspired by the magazine’s popular “Of Many Things” column, and governed by the Jesuit ideal of “finding God in all things,” America’s new blog seeks to bring the magazine’s unique perspective to the events of the day. “In All Things” can also be accessed by visiting America’s newly designed home page at www.americamagazine.org.

Also be sure to visit “The Good Word,” America’s blog on Scripture and preaching: http://www.americamagazine.org/blog/blog.cfm?blog_id=1. And listen to our podcast, which can be played or downloaded at http://americamagazine.podbean.com/.

America, founded by the Jesuits in 1909, has for almost a century been the magazine for thoughtful Catholics and those who care what Catholics think. Our writers have included Thomas Merton, Dorothy Day, Flannery O’Connor, John F. Kennedy, John Courtney Murray, S.J., Cardinal Avery Dulles, S.J, Henri Nouwen and Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.
