Latin America - CPAL's Message on Venezuelan Crisis
Between March 4 and 6, summoned by CPAL, 51 persons, including 19 Jesuits, came together in Lima to reflect on political alternatives to the Venezuelan crisis. They say, "The pain and growing misery of the Venezuelan people, inside and outside their country, saddens us and challenges us... The current situation of misery and breakdown of democracy is ethically intolerable and politically unsustainable.
