Terminados los saludos, el Padre General se dirige a la capilla de la curia, donde ya le espera toda la Congregación. Allí preside una oración en la que, tras el rezo de letanías de santos y beatos Jesuitas, eleva una acción de gracias y pide la bendición para la Companía. La liturgia concluye con una Salve y con otro aplauso espontáneo lleno de afecto. Así termina el proceso de elección, comenzado hace cuatro días. Los delegados se dispersan ahora por las distintas casas, aunque el domingo la congregación volverá a juntarse. Esta vez en la Iglesia del Gesú, y para una honda acción de gracias.
After all the congratulations, Father General went to the main Curia chapel where electors and community awaited him. There he presided at a prayer service which began with a song of praise and the Litany of the Saints. Father General Nicolás blessed everyone and then the simple service ended with a Salve Regina. The electors then dispersed to the various Jesuit communities where they are staying, somewhat tired from four intense days of prayer and conversation but bouyed up by the conviction that the Spirit had indeed led them to choose a man who could lead the Society well.
